# Introduction

Unvault is a multi-chain NFT marketplace, launchpad and vault. These docs cover the pieces a developer touches:

- **REST API** — read collections, items, listings, offers, activity and vault status; create and fulfil orders (planned public surface).
- **Smart contracts** — the settlement zone and auction contracts, collection implementations, the royalty registry and transfer validator, vault and cross-chain contracts, pool factory and pools, and DIVIT pools, with addresses per chain.
- **Vault and cross-chain** — how an item is locked on one chain and mirrored on another, and how to track and recover moves.
- **Launchpad and creator tooling** — mint phases, allowlists and signed vouchers, metadata standards, the generative mint studio.

> **Status: beta.** The marketplace is live in beta on seven chains. Pages marked *planned* describe interfaces that are not yet public; their details will be confirmed here when they ship. Nothing on this site is a commitment to ship a particular feature.

## Two entities

Unvault (BVI) Ltd operates the website, app, APIs, indexers and signing services described here. The on-chain protocol contracts — settlement zone and auctions, pool factory and pools, royalty registry and transfer validator, DIVIT pools, launchpad mint contracts, and the vault, escrow and messaging adapters on every chain — are owned and administered by **UV Tech Foundation**, a Panama private interest foundation (Public Registry Folio No. 25068308). Integrators interact with the Foundation's contracts directly; Unvault's services make them usable.
